Rental Terms & General Conditions
General Terms and Conditions are printed on the reverse side of each SIXT's rental agreement. This with any other specific document supplied by SIXT are defined as the legal rental agreement of the SIXT Rental Car vehicle.
Accidents:
Renters have to report all accidents to SIXT's call center or rental station within 24 hours of the accident ocurring. The renter is required to complete a SIXT accident report. In addition, the renter must complete and file all reports required by police.
Third Part Insurance:
All cars are covered by an insurance policy that provides statutory limits of public liability to the third part. Limit of indemnization are Euro 50.000.000 and a copy of the insurance certificate is available at all rental stations.
LDW (Loss Damage Waiver):
Loss Damage Waiver is not an insurance cover. If LDW is purchased and the rental agreement terms and conditions were not violated, the renter will not be liable for the damages caused to the hired car in case of accident and the loss of the hired car
PAI (Personal Accident Insurance):
Personal Accident Insurance is an optional insurance. PAI provides benefits to the renter in case of death or permanent dismemberment in the consequence of an accident ocurred with the hired car. A copy of the insurance certificate is available at all rental locations.

PAEC (Passenger Accident & Effects Coverage):
Personal Accident & Effects Coverage is an optional insurance. PAEC provides PAI benefits to the renter as well as an additional coverage, includding the theft, to the renter's luggage and personal goods. A copy of the insurance certificate is available a

Additional Driver:
ONE additional driver for FREE
Baby & Child Seats :
9.08 € Per rental day, up to a maximum of 108,90 € per rental agreement
Crossing Border:
FREE - Renter's must ask for authorization at the beggining of the rental
Driving License:
Clients must hold a valid driver's license, held for at least one year.
One Way Rentals :
60.50 € For 1 or 2 days rentals
Refieling Service Charge:
18.15 € Per each service provided
Road Tax & Airport Service:
Included
Young Drivers :
36.30 € Per Renter. Only one young driver per rental agreement is allowed
GPS Portable System:
12.10 € Per rental day, up to a maximum of 121,00 € per rental agreement
All additional charges subject to VAT.
